Flavours of Fortune

Nian Gao
What is Chinese New Year without 年糕!! And we are so happy to have perfected a recipe suitable for our furkids to enjoy!! Nian Gao sound like "higher year" (年高), symbolizing progress, growth, and prosperity in the coming year.

Kuih Bankit
A Singapaw Chinese New Year favourite! The name "Kuih Bangkit" translates to "rising cake", which is a wish for prosperity and abundance.

Lucky Cat
The 招财猫 (Zhāo Cái Māo) is a popular talisman believed to attract wealth, prosperity, and good fortune. With its raised paw, it "beckons" luck & treats to come, come, come!

Money (or Treat) bag
(元宝袋, Yuán Bǎo Dài) in Chinese New Year symbolizes wealth, abundance, and prosperity. Often depicted as a small pouch or sack filled with gold coins or ingots or in our case, a big bag of TREATS!!

Kadomatsu
Japanese “pine gate” (門松), traditionally placed at building entrances during the New Year to invite fortune, luck, good health and happiness for the coming year. The meatloaf base is our Signature cake base, topped with vegetables garnishing.

Persimmon
In Asian cultures, the persimmon tree is revered for symbolising longevity and auspiciousness. The pronunciation of "persimmon (shi)" sounds the same as "thing (shi)," symbolising "everything you wish will come true".
Wishing everypawdy 长命百岁 (Cháng Mìng Bǎi Suì), 万柿如意 (Wàn Shì Rú Yì)!

Yuan Bao
Yuan bao are gold ingots to symbolize wealth, prosperity, and good fortune. In dog language - Yay to more treats!!

Pineapple
Pineapple in Chinese sounds like 旺来 (Ong Lai), meaning "fortune comes."

Chawanmushi
Chawanmushi, a Japanese steamed egg custard, has a smooth, harmonious texture and nourishing ingredients symbolising harmony & well-being. We made that up. Eggs are super nutritious & it looked great in the box. Lol.

Muttballs x 2 
Eating round foods during Chinese New Year symbolizes unity & completeness for the year ahead.

Pork Roulade
The round layers of pork hugging the colourful, nutritious vegetables symbolize happiness, togetherness and continuity. We also made this up but doesn't it sound & look good? Haha.

Ingredients: (Protein) Pork, snakehead Toman fish, salmon, blue lipped mussel, pork heart, Hokkaido scallop, egg, oyster; (Plant) tapioca, low fat coconut milk, dandelion, beetroot, organic flaxseed meal, organic coconut, goji berries, mixed herbs, broccoli, French bean, carrot, organic spirulina, organic carob, carrot, pineapple, pumpkin, turmeric, shiitake, coriander, capsicum (not in order of amounts).

Did you know:
Toman fish or giant snakehead fish is scientifically proven to accelerate healing of wounds and reduce scarring especially after surgery. Toman fish is also called 生鱼 AND it is also auspicious to eat fish during CNY AND it’s the Year of the snake!!! Triple win!!

Our CNY goodies may be picked up or delivered on Jan 18, 19, 25, 26 & 28 from our store at 2 Waringin Park.

Pick up timing : 

18 Jan (Saturday) : 2 – 6 pm                                                                                             
19 Jan (Sunday)   : 2 – 6 pm

25 Jan (Saturday) : 2 – 6 pm                                                                                             
26 Jan (Sunday)   : 2 – 6 pm

28 Jan (Tuesday)  : 2 – 5 pm

Delivery Details :

• Delivery timing will depend on your area. 
• YOU CANNOT SPECIFY DELIVERY TIMING; it will be between 3-7pm but  delays may occur due to traffic or order load.
• If you are on a time crunch and need special timing, please choose "Self Pickup" and order a grab/lalamove car service within the above time range. 
• Free delivery does not apply for any CNY items. Please select "(Express Courier FROZEN/FRESH FOOD) upon check out. It will be $14. For CNY week (25, 26 & 28 January). please select "CNY Dispatch", which will be $20.
• 1 order per delivery date please!
  

The delivery of this item on the 25, 26 and 28 January will be $20 instead of the usual $14. As many of you know we are IT noobs, We seek your kind understanding that we will get in touch with you if any of your shipping order amount is wrong for any shipping top ups. Please pardon us for any inconvenience caused.

STORAGE & FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend storing Flavours of Fortune in the refrigerator and consuming it on the same day. For any uneaten portions, wrap them in cling wrap, a ziplock bag, or an airtight container and freeze up to 2 months.

If your dog isn't accustomed to any of the listed ingredients, particularly if they do not typically consume cooked food, kindly consider refraining from ordering. We have great confidence in our CNY menu. Please be aware that we cannot take responsibility for any potential digestive issues.
